this project was a collaboration between merkled and designer susanna hohmann. we designed and crafted a series of molded felt panels taking inspiration from the natural environment of the northwest. each panel combines aspects of precision machine-made objects with the qualities of the handmade. the last panel was made by laser engraving the felt and hand dyeing.
